I have filed to be classified as an essential business. I do train persons who are civilians, law enforcement, security and military. While typing this update, I just received the following response: “Thank you for seeking designation as an “essential business” pursuant to the revised  New York State Executive Order 202.6.  Based on a review of your request, your stated business location does not serve an essential function.  As such, your business is subject to the required 100% workforce reduction pursuant to revised Executive Order 202.6.  Please also continue to comply with all other Executive Orders and recommendations from the New York State Department of Health.”

While taking the business pause, I will take time to thoroughly sanitize the classroom. I have been taking extraordinary precautions to protect students for several weeks.

In an effort to continue to support our students and friends, I have started a series of free, online seminars. I intend to keep this up during the emergency and will be rotating and repeating seminars from time-to-time. Please feel free to distribute invitations to seminars as I welcome anyone interested to participate.

I appreciate the support and well wishes of our clientele and look forward to being able to provide you with our quality, professional firearm and personal safety training in the near future.

We will all get through this together and come out stronger for the experience!

Steven Donahoo
